Safety and Privacy
Why don’t we show bunker locations?
Because security depends on confidentiality. Facilities are inspected and certified, but coordinates are disclosed only to active members during an activation event. This avoids that people that have no business with the facility block access, try to take your spot by force or sabotage installations. Also, as locations might change over time, we make sure you only have the most current information of active facilities in the moment of activation.
Do you share my info with others?
We will share your information with our local operators so that they are able to validate your membership during an activation event and can inform you about your nearest location. We do not sell your information to others. For more details, please check out our privacy policy.
How safe are these bunkers?
While individual standards and features may vary throughout the world based on how our local operators run their bunkers, we make sure that all bunkers have these minimum security standards.
1. Structural safety

Reinforced concrete or equivalent structural integrity.

Engineered to withstand:
-
severe storms,
-
tornados (if in relevant regions),
-
external fire,
-
moderate blast pressure OR earth load if underground.

No risk of collapse from soil pressure or water infiltration.
-
Anti-flooding measures (drainage or elevation).
-
Sealed doors with at least one airtight gasket.
2. Air Filtration & Ventilation
-
Fresh-air intake with particle filtration (HEPA or similar).
-
Manual ventilation fallback (hand-crank or passive vents).
-
Overpressure or at least sealed airflow system.
-
CO₂ buildup prevention for the declared capacity.
-
Safe, externally protected air intake.
3. Power redundancy
At least two layers:
-
Primary: Grid or generator.
-
Secondary: Battery backup (UPS) providing hours of power for lighting + ventilation.
Minimum:
-
Lighting must never go out completely.
-
Ventilation must run even without grid.
4. Water and Sanitation
Minimum continuity:
-
Safe drinking water supply (stored water OR filtered water system).
-
Minimum 3 liters per person per day, for the declared stay duration.

Basic sanitation:

5. Food and basic supplies

7/14/30 days of food (depending on setup) per declared person capacity (freeze-dried or canned).

Medical kit with common treatments (bandages, disinfectant, basic meds).

Emergency blankets or thermal insulation.
-
Tools: fire extinguisher, flashlight, repair kit.
Food will be restocked as required depending on type during standby phase.
6. Communication and access

A way for operator or staff to communicate with members during activation.
-
A clear entry procedure (code, card, operator presence).
-
Backup method (mechanical key OR pre-issued emergency code).
-
Internal communication to staff or operator (e.g., radio intercom).
7. Fire safety
-
2 fire extinguishers, rated for electrical + chemical fire types.
-
Clear evacuation plan posted inside.

Fire-resistant interior materials where possible.

Safe electrical installation.
8. Security

Solid mechanical or reinforced steel entrance door.
-
Locking mechanism protected from the outside.
- On-site security staff to maintain order inside.

At least one emergency exit (if local building law requires it).

CCTV or local operator protocol (depending on facility type).
