Safety and Privacy

Why don’t we show bunker locations?

Because security depends on confidentiality. Facilities are inspected and certified, but coordinates are disclosed only to active members during an activation event. This avoids that people that have no business with the facility block access, try to take your spot by force or sabotage installations. Also, as locations might change over time, we make sure you only have the most current information of active facilities in the moment of activation.

Do you share my info with others?

We will share your information with our local operators so that they are able to validate your membership during an activation event and can inform you about your nearest location. We do not sell your information to others. For more details, please check out our privacy policy.

How safe are these bunkers?

While individual standards and features may vary throughout the world based on how our local operators run their bunkers, we make sure that all bunkers have these minimum security standards.

1. Structural safety

Reinforced concrete or equivalent structural integrity.
Engineered to withstand:
- severe storms,
- tornados (if in relevant regions),
- external fire,
- moderate blast pressure OR earth load if underground.
No risk of collapse from soil pressure or water infiltration.
Anti-flooding measures (drainage or elevation).
Sealed doors with at least one airtight gasket.

2. Air Filtration & Ventilation

Fresh-air intake with particle filtration (HEPA or similar).
Manual ventilation fallback (hand-crank or passive vents).
Overpressure or at least sealed airflow system.
CO₂ buildup prevention for the declared capacity.
Safe, externally protected air intake.

3. Power redundancy

At least two layers:

Primary: Grid or generator.
Secondary: Battery backup (UPS) providing hours of power for lighting + ventilation.

Minimum:

Lighting must never go out completely.
Ventilation must run even without grid.

4. Water and Sanitation

Minimum continuity:

Safe drinking water supply (stored water OR filtered water system).
Minimum 3 liters per person per day, for the declared stay duration.
Basic sanitation:
- chemical toilet, composting toilet, or sealed waste system
- privacy curtain or small separate space
- cleaning supplies / disinfection

5. Food and basic supplies

7/14/30 days of food (depending on setup) per declared person capacity (freeze-dried or canned).
Medical kit with common treatments (bandages, disinfectant, basic meds).
Emergency blankets or thermal insulation.
Tools: fire extinguisher, flashlight, repair kit.

Food will be restocked as required depending on type during standby phase.

6. Communication and access

A way for operator or staff to communicate with members during activation.
A clear entry procedure (code, card, operator presence).
Backup method (mechanical key OR pre-issued emergency code).
Internal communication to staff or operator (e.g., radio intercom).

7. Fire safety

2 fire extinguishers, rated for electrical + chemical fire types.
Clear evacuation plan posted inside.
Fire-resistant interior materials where possible.
Safe electrical installation.

8. Security

Solid mechanical or reinforced steel entrance door.
Locking mechanism protected from the outside.
On-site security staff to maintain order inside.
At least one emergency exit (if local building law requires it).
CCTV or local operator protocol (depending on facility type).

Pricing and Billing

How much does it cost?

You can see all our available packages on the pricing page. Your final price depends on your level of service and comfort and geographic region.

What is the crisis reserve?

The crisis reserve is a one-time*, non-refundable payment from which we create your personal space in a bunker. From this we are buying furniture (your bed, chair, etc.), food reserves, basic hygiene supplies and medications. This ensures that everything is ready for you when an activation event happens.

*When you change or expand your regions or when mandatory upgrades are necessary, you might be asked to top up your crisis reserve.

Why do I pay a crisis reserve and a monthly membership?

While the crisis reserve is used to create and maintain the local infrastructure, the monthly membership fee funds our operations, including maintaining the network, coordinating and auditing facilities, ongoing support during standby times and emergency communication services, customer service and access to emergency resources.

How do I pay for my membership and the crisis reserve?

Your membership is paid via credit or debit card as a monthly or yearly subscription. We are using Stripe as our billing partner, who will collect your card information and charge your card according to your membership level.

The crisis reserve can either be paid by credit or debit card, bank transfer (ACH or SEPA, depending on your region), or selected crypto currencies.

Can I pay the crisis reserve in installments?

If you are unable to pay the full crisis reserve at once, you may pay the crisis reserve in installments. Please be aware that – while monthly membership fees continue – your space in a bunker will only be ready once the full crisis reserve has been received. It is not possible to pay pending crisis reserve payments during an activation event.

Why is the crisis reserve non-refundable?

The crisis reserve is used to create local infrastructure and supplies for you, so that everything is ready for you during an activation event.

This infrastructure and supplies have only a limited resale value (and may sometimes even expire), so we and the local operator are usually unable to sell them to get your money back. While technically possible, we don’t ship these items to you if you select not to renew your subscription, as sending basic items like hygiene items or simple bed sheets across the country is usually not logistically or financially viable. In individual cases, if you really want your money’s worth delivered to you, you would be in charge of organizing such shipping logistics at your time and expense.

How do I cancel my membership?

Please contact us via email or Whats App from the email address or phone number that you provided during registration. We will then process the cancellation for you.

You can cancel anytime towards the end of your current billing period. There will be no full or pro-rated refunds for any unused periods and your subscription will end at the end of the current billing cycle.

Can I buy a membership for someone else?

Sure. The beneficiary of a membership can be different from the person paying the bill. Please not that we might need written confirmation from the cardholder before processing third party memberships.

Can I transfer my membership?

Memberships are non-transferable. You will have to cancel your membership and the other person has to individually subscribe afterwards. Your crisis reserve might be transferable if you both select identical packages.

Can I transfer my crisis reserve?

You may be able to partially transfer your crisis reserve to a new member when cancelling your subscription. You can currently not transfer crisis reserve assets between two active members, but we are considering to add this functionality in the future.

Locations and Zones

What are zones?

Zones are geographical groups of locations where our partners have facilities ready for you. Depending on size, a zone might be a large metro area, a state or province, or a country or group of countries.

Zones are not always identical to geographical or political boundaries, e.g. a zone might stretch across a state boundary or across the western part of Spain and the eastern part of Portugal if a facility is close to the border.

Do you have a facility in state / country X?

As we are constantly expanding our network of facilities worldwide, it is likely that we have a facility in your area, when you live in Europe, North- or South America. We maintain a list of countries and regions we serve here. Please note that just because your area is covered, it does not always mean that we have free capacities in all zones.

I am moving or traveling, can I switch zones?

Depending on the package you have booked with us, one or several zones will be covered by us.

If you permanently move to another zone, you may transfer your membership to the new zone. In this case, your crisis reserve might need to be updated, as some of the infrastructure we provided for you in your current zone cannot be moved to the new zone and needs to be provided again in the new zone. We will reach out to you when you request a change of your zone to discuss any updates to the crisis reserve.

If you travel temporarily outside your booked zone(s) (defined as less than 30 days of travel within a 120 day period), you can notify us in advance about your travel plans and we will adjust your zone for you for the duration of that time. Depending on your area of travel this could create a one-time (per travel) additional fee.

If you are traveling to a region where we do not have any infrastructure, you can pause your subscription once for 30 days within one calendar year. During the pause, you will not have access to the infrastructure in your originally booked zone(s). Your crisis reserve remains untouched during this pause.

I am living close to an area where two zones overlap, do I have to book two zones?

To access infrastructure in both zones, yes, you would have to book a package that includes zones, since we have to provide the necessary infrastructure in both areas. Our zoning tries to avoid these overlaps, but in rare occasions, you might live close to one of our lines.
